Officers from the Baltimore Police Department located the victim in the 200 block of South Gilmore Street while responding to reports of a shooting around 1 a.m. on Wednesday, March 1.
The 25-year-old victim was shocked to learn he had a gunshot wound to the rear, but recalled hearing gunshots ring out around 10 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 28, when he was in the 1300 block of West Baltimore Street.
The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Police are still investigating this incident and have yet to identify any suspects or motives.
